Vaccine Pediatrics (PVAC) is co -hosted by the University of Geneva, the University of Geneva, the Qatar University (English session) in Doha, and the Cheikh Anta Diop University (French session) of Dakar. PVAC is a dynamic and specialized 5 -day education program that reinvests health experts and major stakeholders, strengthens the world’s priorities for eradication of polio, and improves the effects of surveillance and response systems.
PVAC is designed to strengthen its decision -making technology and technical skills to support global efforts to eradicate polio. Customized for early and mid -health professionals, this course provides in -depth education on vaccines focused on polio.
This course deals with essential topics such as immunology, epidemiology, vaccine development, vaccination strategy, regulatory framework, risk and crisis communication, social, ethics and financial dimensions. PVAC uses a 360 ° approach to learning to combine scientific updates, real case studies, scenario -based plans, and interactive sessions led by experts.
Course Date:
- Doha English session from October 26 to 30.
- French session in Dakar from December 15th to 19th.

This course promotes understanding between interdisciplinary, expanding participants’ expertise into immediate fields, encouraging global thinking, and introducing new technologies and approaches. It allows experts to contribute significantly to the mission of eradication of polio at the field and at the policy level.
Selection criteria
To ensure a meaningful and effective learning experience, you need to limit the number of participants to the maximum. 50 People in the session. We strongly encourage you to submit a strong application to enhance your selection.
Pediatric paralysis (polio)
Participants will be selected next PVAC Science Committee According to him: Education background, work experience, the level of decision -making of vaccines, the effect of the process is expected at the individual, institution and national level. Each application is evaluated individually by at least six members of the Science Committee.
Registration fee
Course participation, accommodation and travel costs are applied by communion for selected participants of low -income and intermediate income states (LMIC).
