The Ministry of Health and Welfare by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Family and Welfare of Kathmando Teku, has announced protocols for clinical management of acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) / Japanese encephalitis (JE).

purpose

The purpose of this protocol is to support doctors and medical workers who manage acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) and/or Japanese encephalitis (JE) by standardizing case management practices nationwide. Instead of replacing clinical judgment, professional counseling, or existing standard treatment protocols, it harmonizes clinical approaches, strengthens wires, and reduces JE -related transfer and mortality.

target audience: The audience is FCHV at the community level for early detection of doctors, nurses, medical personnel and AES.

Case of AES: “At any time, a person who develops acute onset and one or more of the following is a new seizure except for changes in mental state (including confusion, confusion, coma, or incomprehensible symptoms) or simple seizures.”
Simple heat seizures are defined as seizures between 6 months and 6 years of age, and the only result is heat, single general spasms are less than 15 minutes and restores consciousness within 60 minutes after seizure.
