Atorvastatin Recall Information – UCHealth

October 2025 – UCHealth notifies patients of a nationwide manufacturer recall involving certain lots of atorvastatin (10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, and 80 mg) tablets. A recall has been issued due to quality issues. You can learn more about the nationwide recall. here.

This recall only affects certain lot numbers of atorvastatin. Most prescriptions are not affected.

If you have filled an atorvastatin prescription at a UCHealth pharmacy within the last 90 days, our pharmacy team is reviewing your records and will contact you directly if your medication is part of an affected lot.

What happens next?

  • If your prescription is affected, UCHealth will send you a replacement atorvastatin prescription at no cost, regardless of your insurance coverage.
  • Replacement medication will be sent automatically. There is no action you need to take.
  • If you have symptoms or concerns, please contact your care team or UCHealth pharmacy.
