PHOENIX — Arizona leaders have introduced a new plan called ArrayRx to help residents save on prescription drug costs.
through Free ArrayRx Discount CardArizona residents, regardless of age or income, can:
- Save up to 80% on FDA-approved prescriptions.
- Save up to 18% on brand name medications.
- Choose over-the-counter or diabetes supplies.
- Buy specialty and mail order medications.
According to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, ArrayRx is free, easy to use, and does not sell user data.
“At a time when prescription drug prices are too high, we are providing lower prices to Arizonans,” Hobbs said. In Monday’s announcement. “I encourage all Arizonans to sign up for a card so they can save on their medications.”
How to Get an ArrayRx Discount Card to Save on Prescription Drugs
Residents can: sign up online Get your unique ArrayRx discount card that you can download for digital use or print as a physical copy. Both versions are available at more than 64,000 participating pharmacies nationwide, including about 1,200 in Arizona.
ArrayRx members also receive a personalized dashboard, including:
- Share your digital ID with your pharmacist.
- View your prescription history including dates, costs and details.
- Check drug prices before filling a prescription.
The program adds security for people facing insurance gaps or managing long-term drug treatment, according to Reginald Williams, administrator of the Arizona Department of Health Services’ Office of Health Participation and Impact.
“AZRx is an important new tool to provide more affordable prescription and over-the-counter medications to Arizonans,” Williams said. “All Arizonans should register for this cost-saving opportunity.”
The ArrayRx discount card became available in Arizona after Gov. Katie Hobbs signed an executive order last August joining the state in the ArrayRx program, a multi-state nonprofit consortium aimed at lowering prescription drug prices for residents.
