Young’s onstage incident occurred just one day after he canceled his performance at Audacy’s We Survive Concert on Friday, September 26.
Her manager, Nick Shymansky, shared a statement on her Instagram story, stating that the musician had to “step away from performing due to sensitive issues.”

Shymansky noted that Young’s cancellation may have had to do with her mental health, which he said the star was “very open about.”
“There are days (sometimes) when myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” he added. “She is an amazing person and always takes her fans, her career, and her performances seriously. I can’t help but apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
