In October 2021, NHS England and NHS improvement examined a consistent approach to the results measurement and established a work and finishing group that recommended the PROM to be used for CMH services for adults, including the elderly with serious mental illness. The group saw a large number of PROMs and evaluated the agreement selection criteria that included the possibility of acceptance. validity; Trusted; Interoperability; And burden.
The group recommended to use three PROMs, including the recovery of quality of life (Reqol-10). Reqol-10 has been chosen.

One of the goals for YH Arc Health Economics, Evaluation and Equality was that NHS Trusts implemented NHS’s data to support NHS Trusts to improve the health results of patients with mental health through implementing and using Reqol.
