As a Minister of Health and Welfare, I am deeply concerned about the recent occurrence of measles. In most cases, rare complications may be severe, including pneumonia, blindness and encephalitis. Before the vaccine was introduced in the 1960s, almost all children in the United States contracted measles. For example, from 1953 to 1962, on average in the United States, 530,217 cases, 440 deathsOne of 1,205 cases mortality rate.
Measles continue to spread in many states after the death of the child.
The current occurrence of Texas has been influenced mainly on the affected children, and 116 out of 146 occur in individuals under 18 years of age. DSHS reported that 79 of the confirmed cases were associated with measles and trendy subdivision (MMR) vaccines, while 62 vaccines were not known. At least five people received the MMR vaccine.

In response to this outbreak, I ordered the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the administration of strategic preparation and response (ASPR) to work closely with the Texas health authorities to provide comprehensive support. HHS’s efforts include providing technical support, laboratory support, vaccine and therapeutic drugs as needed. The CDC continues to communicate with the Texas health authorities to guarantee the adjusted and effective response to including the onset. I talked with Greg Abbott and Texas health officials and tried to provide additional assistance to end this onset. I also talked to comfort my family parents of the dead child.

As medical providers, community leaders, and policy makers, we are responsible for protecting public health. This includes preaching accurate information on vaccine safety and efficacy. We need to understand their interests, provide culturally competent education, and interact with the community so that everyone who wants can easily access the vaccine.
It is also our responsibility to provide the latest guidelines for the available treatments. Infected people do not have the approved antivirus, but the CDC I recently updated their recommendations Documentation of vitamin A under the supervision of a doctor for mild, moderate and severe infection. There is a study Establish Vitamin A can significantly reduce measles mortality.
Parents play a pivotal role in protecting their children’s health. All parents need to consult a medical service provider to understand the options to get MMR vaccines.
