Prince George ‘S Co. Schools hope to help students deal with mental health with the school health fair.

Better health, especially mental health, is centered on the health fair of Prince George County Public School.

Better health, especially mental health, is at the center of the Prince George County Public School Health Expo on Saturday.

The event will be held at 9:00 am at Largo High School, and students from 6th to 12th graders can get sports physical and vaccine. However, the school system is Hazel health, Provide mental health services to students.

Dr. Tamare Frazier, a well -being coordinator of the school system, said, “In the experience of working with students, the level of anxiety with students is increased and there is a problem with coping technology. “So the need for mental health services has increased significantly.”

Parents can access information on their physical and mental health support at the fair. Representatives of Hazel Health will also talk.

With Hazel Health, Peter Kelpin said, “It is a very simple process for a family to register students. “The guardian can take care of the students directly to the students, and we also cooperate with the nurses with the family to see if the Hazel service is suitable for the students.”

While insurance is allowed, some students can access both mental and physical health services for free. Hazel also provides virtual services.

Yoga and Zumba classes are also in the fair schedule. For those who can’t make it, the school system can still contact Hazel Health to find more information about the available services. School nurses and counselors can also provide more information.
