The new report will take a closer look at the mental health of LGBTQ+ young people in Pennsylvania. The TREVOR project surveyed 653 people between 13 and 24 years between September 13 and 24, 2023, and 36%of them attempted suicide attempts to commit suicide .69%reported anxiety. 50%reported that politics had recently had a negative impact on his welfare: 27%reported that he left Pennsylvania due to LGBTQ+ related politics and laws, including LGBTQ+ related politics and laws, including 34%of transgender and non -binary young people. 90%said that I can say how I can show my support and acceptance best. 83%told me that they were standing. The new report will take a closer look at the mental health of LGBTQ+ young people in Pennsylvania.
The TREVOR project surveyed 653 people between 13 and 24 years between September 13 and December 16, 2023:
- 36%seriously considered suicide.
- 10%attempted suicide.
- 69%reported that they had experienced anxiety.
- 53%reported that they had experienced symptoms of depression.
- 47%wanted but did not receive treatment.
- 22%were physically harmed according to their sexual tastes and gender identity.
- 58%experienced discrimination according to sexual orientation or gender identity.
- 50%reported that politics recently had a negative impact on their welfare.
- 27%reported that due to LGBTQ+related politics and laws, including 34%of transgender and non -binary young people, they and their families left Pennsylvania in other states.
- 68%said they accepted LGBTQ+ people, including 66%of transgender and non -binary young people.
When people in life ask what is the best way to show their support and acceptance:
- 90%said I trusted me who I was.
- 83%said they stood for me.
- 78%said they did not support politicians who advocated anti -LGBTQ+ law.
- 63%said they found it on their own to better understand LGBTQ+ identity.
- 63%said they respect my pronouns.
