HEDS (Health Economics and Decision Science) section (www.shef.ac.uk/scharr/sections/heds) provides support for health economics/decision -making modeling research staff especially as part of a team in various fields that provide support for health care and public health mediation. Leave the focus.
This work includes contributions and support for various projects that support research subsidies and knowledge exchange consulting. This project includes designing and conducting a health economy, statistics and epidemiological modeling -based analysis for policy evaluation. The work is for a wide range of decision makers. Applicants/customers include health social welfare and related organizations, such as NIHR, such as NIHR. Local NHS and government agencies and commercial organizations. The analysis of complex data sets and the design of the health economy model are the core activities, as well as the method of method loan to support cost efficiency analysis. The approach used within the project includes decision analysis modeling (eg Markov and individual event simulation), optimization technology and measurement economy and multivaria statistical analysis.
You will provide support to senior health economists and modulators, contribute to evaluation designs, conduct supervision analysis, and contribute to fellow review reports, journals and conference presentations. Successful applicants will also contribute to research and consulting bidding. It also offers tutorials to contribute to the educational responsibility of the section. Numerous subjects (eg, statistics, economy, operational research, mathematics or quantitative application science or social sciences) are essential, and graduate qualifications or equal experiences are desirable.
