Minnesota is new law Through this, a year later, social media companies should warn users on the potential negative mental health effects of using social media every time a user accesses the social media platform. Warning labels should include specific content, including information about mental health resources (national suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline). The law is also forbidden in detail, including “external information” in the warning label. It must be a screen, not the company’s website term, and it must remain on the screen until the user confirms and agrees or leaves the site.
Unless you are challenged, the law will take effect on July 1, 2026. Before entering into effect, the Health Commissioner shall perform the mission according to the method of preparing guidelines by March 1, 2026.
