YOST is a complex drug:
- It has not been approved by FDA, which means that the institution did not test safety or effects.
- It is not the same as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound or Mounjaro. The complex version may not meet the standards with the brand name.
- It is not the same as generic medicine. Generic medicines have been approved for FDA and thus maintain the same standard as the brand version. Complex drugs created by pharmacies for individual patients are not subject to the same supervision.
- Complex drugs can provide important medical needs to patients who cannot be treated as an FDA approval drug, but companies do not have any misconceptions or misunderstandings for the safety or efficacy of such drugs.
