Monroe, La. (KNOE) -The doctor says that it spreads on social media, alerts the wrong information of breast cancer, and prevents some people from being tested.
One of the common myths circulating online is that men can’t get breast cancer. Doctors say that it is not true, and the case is less common, but men can get a disease.
The second misunderstanding of the resolved is associated with breast angiography radiation.
Carti Cancer Center of Breast Film Radiologist Stephen Ruton says some people are avoiding the test due to fear of exposure, but the radiation of breast angiography is minimized. It is similar to the amount of sunlight that people receive within two weeks.
He says, “But every time a man feels a mass, he must see a surgeon several times a year and see someone who needs to see a lump of breast cancer treatment.”
In relation to prevention, doctors recommend healthy eating and exercise. Dr. Routon says that all women recommend three numbers.
He says, “Most women must start selection at age 40. At the age of 25, all women are called risk assessments, family history, risk factors for breast cancer, and the last number of them mean once a year.”
