Thursday, dozens of nurses marched to Susan Collins, a Senator of Susan Collins in Portland, and asked not to support the council budget that some warnings could be cut in Medicaid.
The protesters insist that the reductions proposed in Medicaid will worsen the treatment, and worry that the savings will harm the labor class main, worrying that the saving money will go to the billionaire.
The Republican Party of the House of Representatives recently passed a major budget bill that instructs the committee to supervise the Medicade to find a $ 800 billion cut.

On Thursday, the main nurses urged Collins to reject the budget bill.
Maine Medical Center Nurse KIRSTEN LANE said, “We are here to support Medicaid. We want not to cut Medicaid funds.” We say that we are an essential element of health care for the most vulnerable population in many people, especially in the community.
In response to the protest, Collins wrote a statement that he is doing his best to protect MEDICAID’s main.
“Medicaid is an important resource for Maine’s health care system and many elderly people, low -income families and disabled patients, as well as providers who care for them.”
The president has repeatedly promised not to cut Medicaid or Medicare.
The White House says government spending is focused on reducing fraud and waste.
