Implementation research (IR) is important for designing strategies or solutions to overcome the bottlenecks that prevents people who need to be proven and innovative public health mediation. Through this, these interventions are used in a way that leads to intended results. Such solutions include overcoming barriers to drug adoption, diagnosis, or preventive measures to improve the health of people at risk of malaria, tuberculosis, NTD or other infectious diseases. IR can help to reach people who need health solutions and use them in a way to create intended results.

This course is a public health research institute and decision makers, disease management program managers, scholars, and other online education, which focuses on how to improve the control of the Institute of Health and decision -making, the decision -making program manager, the scholar, and other poverty diseases and create better health results.

Experts guide the participants through the core concepts of the IR, including modules that deal with the following methods.

  • Identify the tasks of various health environments.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of the existing disease control strategy.
  • Cooperate with community and stakeholders to develop new interventions and strategies.
  • Specify the IR question.
  • Design strict research projects. This includes a way to identify IR results, evaluate efficiency, and plan to expand implementation in real settings.

The goal of this process is to establish a capacity to identify the tasks of various health environments, evaluate the adequacy of existing strategies, and to develop new interventions and strategies to cooperate with community and stakeholders.

MOOC has been developed in English, French and Spanish. Translation in Chinese, Russian and Arabic is in progress.

  • How to identify a variety of challenges
  • How to evaluate the adequacy of the existing implementation strategy
  • How to develop innovative and more effective implementation status in cooperation with community and various stakeholders
  • How to formulate the research questions, operate variables, and design strict research projects
  • How to define the results of implementation and to evaluate the effect of implementation strategy
  • And finally, if a strong implementation strategy is given, how to plan the size of intervention
Requirements
  • The general knowledge of your state’s public issues can be advantageous.
  • Participants in all educational backgrounds give priority to people with health -related backgrounds.

2025 TDR MOOC 2.0 Session of Session (Sear -Promotion)

The 2025 session of TDR MOOC 2.0, characterized by two live sessions, focuses on the study of infectious diseases in low -income and intermediate income countries. The program is hosted by the University of Tropical Medical Center, UGM (UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA), hosted by the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), a TDR support regional education center under special programs for research and training for tropical disease.
