According to a recent study by Edith Cowan University, a five -minute eccentric exercise can lead to an improvement in physical and mental health. The eccentric movement, which includes the muscle kidney controlled during movements such as chair squats or wall push ups, has been shown to improve muscle strength, flexibility and atmosphere. This discovery emphasizes the potential of short and consistent exercise that can contribute to overall welfare.
Led by Dr. Benjamin Kirk and Professor Ken Nosaka of the ECU Medical Health Sciences College of Medicine, this study assessed the impact of a five -minute home -based weight eccentric program for physical strength, body composition and sitting personal physical and mental health.
This study was published later. Applied physiology European journal.
For four weeks, the participants have completed the daily exercise consisting of 10 repetitions of chair squats, chair Reclines, wall push -ups, and heel drops, and focus on the shrinkage of eccentric muscles, such as sitting in a chair and stretching slowly, and long while the thigh muscles are supported in front of the thigh muscles.
“We have greatly improved muscle strength, flexibility, strength and mental health, and that even a small amount of daily exercise can provide sustainable and detectable benefits to individuals sitting.” Professor Ken Nosaka said.
“The results emphasized that eccentric movements are very effective in improving health. This type of exercise is easier to approach most people because it does not need to use weight and go to the gym.
“The eccentric movement can be spread during the day, so you can achieve more results for poor people.”
