The Public Health and Nursing Department of the NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) has been providing two complete doctoral programs since September 1, 2025.This position is the Norwegian Research Committee (Research Council of Norway Council) This is part of the 4ADOLESTER project that supports funds (we solve important challenges in youth nutrition in a low -end resource environment.

About the project

Betternutrition4adolescent It aims to fill this important gap by working with a low -end school located in the underprivileged protesters in Delhi (India) and Budhanilkantha (Nepal). The project will identify barriers and promotions that form a school food environment by adopting a participatory stake -centered approach to participate in students, parents, teachers, school managers, food suppliers and canteen staff. Through this comprehensive process, this project will co -design multiple ingredients designed for local contexts. The project will also develop a real implementation strategy that takes into account logistics and cultural issues so that arbitration is integrated into the school routine every day. Arbitration is evaluated for acceptance, validity and effects in improving major health results.

This is a global health project hosted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Experienced Institution: Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Nepal’s Institute for Imistanitation Science and Health (IISH) Partnership.

The candidate will be on -site for one year based on Norway NTNU for almost two years in Budhanilkantha, Delhi, India and Nepal. The researcher must submit a doctoral dissertation within three years from the beginning.

Duty of position

The necessary selection criteria

• Community medicine, global health, public health, epidemiology, nursing, health science or a master’s degree. Your learning course should be a five -year Norwegian course, where 120 credits were obtained at the master’s level. Masters can apply, but they need to get a master degree and document it before starting their seats.
• In previous studies, you should have a strong academic background and have an average grade in a master’s degree or equal education. NTNU’s grade size. • You must meet the admission requirements Ph.D. program for medicine and health science

• Documented experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods through master papers or previous academic publications
• Previous research experience that works in a curse environment
