NHS confirmed that professional mental health crisis centers will open throughout the UK for the next decade to reduce the concentration of the accident and emergency (A & E) departments, NHS confirmed.
Ten hospital trusts are controlling new evaluation centers to deal with people with mental health crisis.
The goal is to avoid waiting for a long time in A & E and receive appropriate treatment for these patients in a calm environment.
NHS England said the new troops will reduce overcrowding in hospitals and relieve pressure on emergency services, including police.
But Andy Bell, the CEO of the Mental Health Center, an independent charity, said the new provisions should finely raise funds.
The government is expected to expand to “dozens of regions” nationwide, the government said as part of a 10 -year NHS plan.
The clinic is open to large patients, as well as patients mentioned by GPS and the police, and professional staff can treat people who are suffering from acute mental pain.
In an interview with The Times Newspaper, NHS England’s Jim Mackey welcomed the “new model that pioneered a new treatment model.”People can get the right support in the right setting.
“In addition to alleviating the pressure on busy A & E, the Mental Health Crisis Evaluation Center accelerates the appropriate treatment so that people can go out of the hospital by providing help to people faster.”
NHS England says some centers will be new and independent units and other centers will be integrated into existing A & E.
Bell told the BBC Breakfast that this plan was not tested, so it was skeptical of the potential effects of this plan.
He simply called for a separate facility to “carefully” because it was impossible to separate physical and mental health problems.
“We must test the model at all stages before we think about rolling out nationwide,” Bel said.
Asked for better funds for NHS mental health services, he mentioned last year that the ratio of health on mental health was raised last year and would do it again.
According to a recent study on British emergency treatment, the number of people waiting for A & E for more than 12 hours in A & E after the beginning of the modern record began. In January, it accounted for 60,000 people or 11%of first aid.
The government also announced the expansion of plans last month so that GPS could provide treatment and advice to patients without joining the list of long NHS hospitals in the UK.
Mental Health Minister Baroness Merron said: “People who are experiencing a mental health crisis too often do not receive eligible support or treatment, so it is important to continue to provide various services like this.”
She said that the government has invested 26 million pounds in the new crisis center, hires more employees, has more conversation therapy, and “switches” a service that has been listed.
“In addition, the proposed reform of mental health law will allow people with the most serious mental health to receive better personalized treatment.”
Conservative Luke Evans, a shadow of health and social welfare, said it was “welcomed,” but raised concerns about reducing mental health expenditures from the entire NHS budget.
He said in the plan, “Mental health charity and local authorities have been forced to redirect resources from those who are having the most difficult.”
“This government must now be able to get the funds so that people who are struggling with mental health can receive the necessary objects and mercy.”
Helen Morgan MP, a spokesman for the Liberal Democratic Party, said: “The government also needs to restore the abandoned NHS mental health goals, so people can get the necessary help before reaching the invasion point.”
