Capaldi said in a comedian’s podcast “This weekend,” two years ago, he said he had a “kind of breakdown on stage.”
He said he felt “paralysis” because of his initial prescription for antidepressants, and he said that he made him feel low.

“It was really scary when they suggested.” He questioned the prescription and added, “I’m not a psychosis.”
He said he had taken Aripiprazole, known as TOURETTE syndrome and other conditions, such as bipolar disorders and schizophrenia.
“It has changed my life,” he said. “This really helped me a lot.”
He said he was being treated and made another lifestyle change. He reduced drinks, changed diet, and exercised, and found that he lost about 28 pounds since January.
“My anxiety is too low these days,” he said. “I don’t feel stressed. I don’t know if all this is related to this (anti -psychosis medicine) or other choices. I think that’s the merger of things.”
Capaldi’s performance in 2023 was “the lowest moment in my life.” Capaldi added: “I had two songs on stage at this moment.
He made him feel “the weight was released.”
A few weeks ago in Chicago, there was a similar episode, and he said, “It’s worse.”
“I returned to the stage and couldn’t finish the song, and I caused crazy panic attacks behind the scenes,” he said.
“In a strange way, the moment is the best thing that happened to me in 2023.
