Las Vegas (KSNV) – Health officials are conducting two separate investigations on the case of legion soldiers in Las Vegas.
The Southern Nevada Health District said the survey was about the case of the South Point Hotel and the Casino and GrandView.
In the case of Silverado Ranch and Las Vegas Boulevards, one person stayed in the hotel last August and others stayed in February. Both have recovered.
In the case of GrandView, just south of South Point, one person stayed there in February and two stayed in April. All three were hospitalized, but have been restored since then.
SNHD tested water at a position and has returned to loves to Legionella, a bacterial bacterium that causes lodgis disease.
The South Point and GrandView are both immediate water system treatment and follow -up tests and are in cooperation with SNHD’s investigation.
If you stay in this real estate last spring and have symptoms within 14 days of visiting, you must complete the confidential disease investigation. One is for the Grand View and One for South Points.
Legionnaires’ diseases can cause symptoms such as headaches for up to two weeks after cough, shortness of breath, heat, muscle pain and exposure.
People aged 50 and older, people with weakened immune systems, and people with underlying or abandoned people are at high risk.
