Alcohol -related cancer deaths in the United States have doubled in the last 30 years and have had an unbalanced impact on men and individuals aged 55 or older. The results will be announced at the annual meeting of the American Clinical Oncology Association in Chicago next week and have not yet been published in the Journal of Fellow.
Studies have shown that the researchers analyze the national mortality rate due to alcohol use between 1990 and 2021. In an interview with ABC News, Dr. Chinmay Jani, chief author of the study of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and clinical researchers of blood and oncology, said, “We already know other risks such as memorization. Cancer.”
Dr. JANI also explains that all amounts of alcohol may be harmful to health. It does not necessarily mean that you are drinking every day. According to NBC News, cancer deaths were the highest among people over 55 years old. Alcohol -related cancer deaths in this age group increased more than 1% annually between 2007 and 2021.

Among the seven alcohol -related cancers, the liver, colon work and Ospo Gra cancers were the most fatal in 2021. Liver cancer death was especially common in men. For women, it was breast cancer.
