Chippewa Falls, Wis. (WEAU) -Tony EVERS Governor returned to Chippewa Valley on Thursday and continued to demand expansion.
EVERS held a roundtable meeting with community stakeholders in the market in the River in Chippewa Falls. The governor said the group focuses on how to improve health care in our region. EVERS believes that the expansion of Medicaid can fill the service gap caused by the closure of the hospital in the western West of Wisconsin.
“We will continue to fight. I think leadership is a foolish idea, but I don’t think it’s foolish to give people’s medical services, so it will be the top priority for us. ”
During his budget speech every two years, EVERS Governor explained a proposal to provide new hospital investment to improve medical access throughout the state.
