GACD (Global Alliance for Month Disease) Implementation Science School is an intensive program for early career researchers promoted by the most famous global experts in this field. The trainees learn how to study and implement research on policies and practice through lectures, small group sessions, promoted group work and panel discussions, select and apply theories, models, and frameworks, and create a professional network for future collaboration.
Schools and all related resources are free for successful applicants.
The goal of the school is as follows.
- Early and mid -researchers are introduced in the field of implementation.
- It facilitates collaboration and networking.
- Explore the process of transferring examples and research results to policies and practices.
Eighth GACD Implementation Science School 2025
The eighth GACD Implementation Science School 2025 is now open. The application is Monday, July 21, 2025 at 12:00 (noon) UTC.
Qualification and application
All education and education are provided in English. Applicants must be good at English to make the most of the program.
Eligible applicants include those who meet one of the following criteria.
- Complete or conduct graduate programs or research related to clinical or public health (or related fields).
- Recently, I have completed my doctoral degree related to implementation science and/or NCD.
- Other relevant graduates with up to five years of research experience.
The preference is as follows.
- Applicant who focuses on diseases that are impossible to study.
- Members of low -income and mid -income countries or indigenous communities.
- Applicants in the early and mid -term applicants who conduct research within low -income and intermediate income countries or with the Aboriginal population of high -income countries.
A trainee of an institution may be limited to ensure international diversity. Participants in the previous GACD Implementation Science School are not suitable for this event.
Applicants are requested to submit the following information during the application procedure to consider the selection committee.
- CV / resume copy.
- The motivation for you to apply and a personal statement that summarizes a good candidate for the school (up to 300 words).
- Two major learning targets (up to 300 words) to attend school.
- Summarize career trajectory statements, the desire of career for the next three to five years, and how knowledge of implementation science will benefit the work (up to 300 words).
- You can concentrate on the time requirements of the school and attend all sessions.
- Explicit support of supervisors, team leaders or line administrators, including the application.
The application will be evaluated by the selection committee based on the following:
- Powerful teams or institutional support for applicants attending school.
- Motivation and motivation for the applicant’s research.
- The applicant is likely to benefit from the school.
