Crossfit Open Movement 25.2 Analysis

Spread the love

The second exercise of the 2025 Crossfit Open was 22.3 repetition. This included double hundred, weight increase, pull -up, chest tuba pullup and bar muscle up. There was a 12 -minute time cap in the exercise, and athletes who did not have completed the exercise scored a few people in charge.

Unlike 25.1, which is not high skilled or heavy loads, 25.2 includes several challenging elements. By starting exercise with a pull -up, a player without that technology had to choose a scaling or basic version. As the weight increases, the movement progresses, making the movement more difficult. It was a similar story in the pull -up bar. Each round requires more advanced skills than before.

So far, the biggest challenge of this movement has been a bar muscle karma. The impressive 17,985 women and 54,285 men were able to perform at least one bar muscle up.

25.2 vs 22.3

This movement lasted three years ago in 22.3 years. Overall, this time the result was surprisingly similar. At the bottom of the field, we can see almost the same distribution at the top 25%at a slight time.

Comparing the top percenty of women and men, women’s side makes a much larger improvement. For example, the 90th percentile has been improved to 24 seconds, and men have been improved only 4 seconds.

Performance by country

Like week 1, there was a significant difference in the participation of the motion version of the top country. The top three countries in RX were 90%in Korea, 81%in Australia, and 74%in the US.

This was a difficult exercise to finish in the time cap, so let’s look at the ratio of the player to complete the Rx’D version. The top country finishing 25.2 RX’D was 18%, Brazil 16%, and Australia 15%.

Movement analysis by department

There were many challenging elements in this exercise, so there were fewer players who chose to perform the RX’D version compared to 25.1. For women aged 18-34, 65%performed 25.2 as rx’d compared to 78%of 25.1. For men aged 18-34, 86%performed 25.2 as rx’d compared to 90%of 25.1.

Movement analysis by department

As the difficulties of this movement increased, there were many stubborn points where many players were trapped. The biggest blocker was the 157th representative, the first bar muscle industry. A total of 27%of RX’D women aged 16-54 and 11%of RX’D men aged 16-54 completed exercise with 156 representatives and could not complete the bar muscle business. This is reflected in the graph below.

There were also many athletes who had completed more than once, but could not complete everyone. In terms of men, more players have exercised more than 18 threads in 15 bar muscles.

It was very difficult to complete the RX’D version of this exercise, and only 12%of women and 21%of men completed all the representatives in the time cap.

Community cup layer

For the 2025 Crossfit Games season, the Community Cup is the next step after opening. The class competing in the Community CUP is based on the level of writing and submitting scores for all three movements in the opening.

The table below provides an idea where the score of 25.2 is from the hierarchy. For example, women aged 55 or older require time faster than 8:21 to enter the advanced stage of 25.2.

Number of percentiles for each department and version

The following is a percentile table for individuals, masters, and teenagers with details about each version. You can see how much repeated or how much time it has taken to achieve a certain percentile. For example, in the 45-49 rx’d men, 166 people have gained the 75th percentile.

This percentile number is different from the total number of departments in the department and exercise (combined with all versions).
