Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -An March is the moon of colon rectal cancer, and women in Cancer Wellness Foundation are in progress in Blue Campaign.
According to the Cancer Wellness Foundation, colon rectal cancer is the second main cause of cancer deaths in men and women. According to the American Cancer Society, almost 53,000 people are expected to die this year.
However, the screening test is one of the most preventive and treatable diseases. It is better to select everyone over 45 years old. But if you have a family history of the disease, you may need to select earlier. Currently, there are more than one million cancer survivors in the United States.
Twenty women in the area are doing their best to wear blue every month and to raise money for cancer patients in the river. WSFA 12 Sports Director Rosie Langello is one of the women this year. Donate to support her campaign. Cancerwellnessfoundation.org/women- in-blue/rosie-langello/
