People used a paracetamol packet in the boots after the packaging error, using a paracetamol packet.
The Foil blister pack, which is affected by 16 tablets inside the Paracetamol Box, was actually incorrectly packed with “Aspirin 300mg Distributable Tablet” despite the 500mg Paracetamol Tablet.
The UK pharmaceutical and medical product regulatory agency (MHRA) urged the customer to check the box’s bottom 241005.
“If you are affected, you must immediately stop using the product and return it to the boots store for full refunds, regardless of the receipt.”
MHRA said that even if the customer is known, the box should not be maintained.
If the tablet is brought for others, the customer must warn others.
Boots also posted a recall to the customer by posting on the official Facebook page.
We have added the supplier, Aspar Pharmaceuticals Limited, and confirmed that the tablet of the blister pack is Paraceta, not aspirin.
