The University of Ghana, which supports TDR’s Graduate Education System and Regional Education Center, invites qualified candidates to apply for implementation research (IR) leadership program for the impact of public health in the 2025/2026 school year. The program is funded by the UNCE, the UNICEF, the UNDP, the World Bank and the World Health Organization (WHO). Only applicants in low -income and mid -income countries (LMICS) African area I am qualified.

Goal

• We develop professional and innovative leadership in the IR.
• Private IR improves the capabilities of public health institutions that create new knowledge and contribute to improving health results. and
• We establish a cooperative network of LMIC -based leaders to IR that will contribute to health policies and practices at the region, region and global level.

This program focuses on strengthening IR technology to improve health results. TDR Strategy 2024-2029: Control and removal of effects on the health of poverty, resistance, infectious diseases and development, and health of climate change.

Program details

As part of this program, Fellows can lead to large IR arbitration designs, lead knowledge delivery, and contribute to policy designs. Kana University’s Public Health College will provide a limited number of fellowship in 2025/2026.

The program will be directly conducted in English and will provide comprehensive leadership education packages, knowledge translations and leadership in the IR. Fellowship will be provided to individuals who seek career in academia/research and program implementation. The dating period depends on the specific program activities, and the program implementer is up to six months and 12 months for academic/researchers.

Fellowship is expected to begin in January 2026. FELLOWS will develop IR leadership technology related to participation in stakeholders, collaboration and complex IR projects in the actual environment.

essential Requirements

• Residential and nationality: applicants African area.
• Age: The applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of application.
• Career Interest: I am interested in developing academic or public health leadership experience in IR, which focuses on areas such as climate change and health, antibacterial resistance, poverty infectious diseases and infectious diseases, and the control and removal of the onset.
• Employment: Applicants must be hired to universities, research institutes, health, public health institutions, or non -governmental organizations (NGOs) with corporations registered in Africa.
• English Proficiency: The program is in English, so all applicants must be good at English. At least the applicant’s bachelor’s degree must be completed in English.
• Research vacation: Applicants must provide evidence of the ability to get research on research on employment.
• Health requirements: Applicants must agree to meet the health requirements set by the regulations of the host country.

Education and experience requirements
Academic background

• Applicants must be a similar MSC program that needs to graduate from TDR MPH/MSC in public health/IR programs, or focus on implementation research, and have at least 3 to 5 years of future degree experience in academia or health systems.
• desirable:
  1) A doctoral degree of health system or IR
  or
  2) Programming experience for five years with five years of experience in IR or health system studies.
• Applicants must have one or more fellow review articles on the IR theme in Open-ACCESS JOURNAL.

The desired requirements

• Experience and/or range/systematic literature review: Familiarity to systematic approach to scientific literature search and evaluation with the experience of IR.
• Publication: The first or corresponding author of the minimum one colleague reviewer published in Open-ACCESS JOURNAL.
• Incorporation Technology: Incorporation Interdisciplinary Research Project and Powerful Time Management Technology Experience. • Independence: The ability to work independently.

Fellowship is handled

• Travel and accommodation for specific education, international exposure, meetings and networking.

Examples of planned activities

• Contributes to the design and leadership of large IR projects.
• Participate in the opportunity to develop leadership including workshops and seminars.
• Gana University Public Health College participates in and offered a master’s degree in public health (MPH) or a doctoral program.
• Post a colleague review paper on the IR and prepare a project report.

• It provides IR proposals (up to 5 pages including reference).
• Include a curriculum resume (CV) with a list of fellow review publications.
