Washington -Arsell Inc. have presentation Voluntary recall of about 2,300 bottles of Benadryl Liquid Elixir sold in a 100ml bottle due to the potential risk of child addiction. Products affected were sold in Amazon between July 2023 and October 2024.
The recall comes from the violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, which requires children’s energy packaging for products containing Diphenhydramine, an active ingredient of Benadryl.
The packaging of the recalled bottle does not meet this safety standard and shows a risk if young children take medicine.
The recalled product is a blue text that is provided with a pink and white label with a pink and white label, with safety disclosure and storage guidelines on the back. This product is sold in a paper box with a similar design and includes a white label at the bottom with the “X0033vrigul” code.
An accident or injury related to the product has been reported, but consumers must immediately remove the product from the child’s reach.
