Americans provide us to a health care system in C grade and require policy change.

In a survey of more than 1,000 Americans, almost 3/4 granted a C grade to the US health care system, emphasizing extensive dissatisfaction with costs, access and government regulations.1

EHEALTH results 2025 Health Care Pulse Survey The respondents showed a rough bell curve of grades. When I asked how to evaluate health care in the United States today:

  • 9%is a
  • 19%gave B
  • 34%is C
  • 21%gave D
  • 17%gave f

According to the report, the individuals guaranteed by Medicaid had a more favorable view of the current medical system than those with employer -based coverage, and were more likely to give higher grade.

When the respondents asked who criticized the current health care status of the current state, the respondents cited most insurance companies (66%) and pharmaceutical companies (60%) as the main cause, and 42%criticized politicians. Meanwhile, 34%of the health system fraud, waste and abuse, and 23%criticized the provider.

In relation to this, only half of the respondents reported that they could afford premiums or prescription drugs. More immediately, only half said they could receive the necessary treatment when they were needed, and less than half said they could access the doctor they wanted.

Unfortunately, Americans struggling to pay premiums are not news, and these results are consistent with other studies. In the commentary of the September 2024 issue American Journal of Managed Care®The authors said, “It is not surprising that 47%of insurance Americans have difficulty in providing health care, given that the average savings of US families have $ 8,000.”2 Medical costs are generally rising at a much higher rate than the price, and the author pointed out that the consumer price index of medical services increased 118% between 2000 and 2024, but only 83% for all products during the same period.

This financial strain bleeded to other aspects of life. According to a survey, 46%of respondents said they should choose from basic living expenses such as medical expenses or food and housing for the past 10 years.1 It is the third concern about providing health care more than food staple such as gasoline, housing insurance and eggs, meat and dairy products.

“This is a sad commentary on the condition of the medical system.” In the news release.3 “In fact, most of them say they are willing to reconsider the main provisions of 2010 ACA (ACA).”

While 91%of the respondents agreed to ACA’s principles, no one agreed that he should not refuse health insurance based on his troops, but 83%believe that Americans should have the freedom to choose a health plan that leaves an additional guarantee if they save money against ACA’s requirements for ACA’s wide range of guarantees.1 But on the other hand, 56%believe that people who maintain a healthy lifestyle should pay more for health insurance.

Americans want to prohibit drug advertising

The report also emphasized a variety of views on the role of the government in health care, and in the survey, most Republican voters (79%) said that there were too much government regulations compared to 42%of Democrats, but the report did not pay attention to the size of each cohort. Overall, 57%said that the government would “hold too strong hands” to regulate health care.

However, similar views have been shown regarding pharmaceutical advertising. Respondents of the Political Spectrum say 71%of Republican voters, 67%of Democrats, and 63%of independent voters will support the ban on drug company advertising.

Soistman said, “The newly appointed Minister Robert F. Kennedy Jr.3 “2/3 (66%) says it will support the ban on drug advertising, including the majority of Democrats and Republican voters.”
