A simple blood test can detect cancer (up to 10 years ago)

Test was developed by the team Mass General BrighamEspecially Mike TOTH Head and Tree Cancer Research Center (Bulk Eye and Ears). Their initial studies have shown that the accuracy of the initial or minimal disease is reduced, especially in the early or minimal diseases. In contrast, HPV-DEEPSEEK’s “ixlovely” approach improves detection, especially in the early stages.

In subsequent verifications, researchers are testing them on more blind sample sets, including those in the national repository, such as prostate, lungs, colon work and ovarian cancer screening tests (PLCOs).

The main principle is to detect a tumor DNA piece circulating in the blood (often called circulating tumor DNA, CTDNA). But HPV-DEEPSEEEK is getting further. Find a fine viral DNA short and other biomarkers using the entire HPV genome and the advanced machine learning approach.

In the study, researchers tested the stored blood samples collected a few years before the diagnosis. Later, among the 28 individuals who later developed HPV-related diameter cancer, HPV-DEEPSEEK detected HPV DNA in 22 and 28 healthy control samples tested the voice. By improving the algorithm with machine learning, we achieved 27 out of 27 of the 28 subsequent measures, including samples 10 years before diagnosis.

The test also shows the very high specificity (ie false positive) and sensitivity (ie true positive) reported 99%for the two inpatients in the first clinical presentation.
