Most of the herb bubs in health care this year have focused on Medicaid, and the federal funds are rapidly decreasing as a result of the mass budget bill signed by President Donald Trump earlier this month. But now we are focusing on AFODABLE CARE Act, which is facing a big change in 2026 that can benefit from health insurance for many consumers.
Meanwhile, the change of immigration policy by Trump can greatly affect the state’s health care system by eliminating the scope of insurance coverage, which will deteriorate the lack of medical workers and to maintain some hospitals and clinics.

- Many Americans can expect health insurance premiums next year, but this rate increase can be much greater for millions of people who rely on ACA health plans. To make such a plan, most consumers depend on federal subsidies that will expire. This will expire. And GOP lawmakers seem to hate to extend them, even though many members were able to lose their insurance.
- The Congress included $ 50 billion in rural health care in Trump’s new law and aimed to prevent the damage of Medicaid cuts. But the fund is expected to be short. In particular, many people should leave health insurance and clinics, hospitals and health systems to cover their bills.
- Abortion opponents argue that abortion pills are not safe, citing analysis that is a problem, and some lawmakers are pressing the federal officials and seeing the drug approval again. Meanwhile, many planned parent clinics are taking off their money from clinics that provide only contraception as well as abortions, as well as clinics that provide other non -abortions in states where tests and procedures for sexually transmitted diseases are prohibited.
- And as more doctors embody a method of rejecting treatment that violates their morals, Tennessee pregnant women say they have refused to provide prenatal treatment because the doctor is unmarried.
This week, Lobner interviewed Jonathan Oberlander, a Medicare historian and a professor of health policy at North Carolina, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Medicare at the end of this month.
