Asia ehealth information network (AEHIN) Since 2021, it has been actively involved in developing the HDG (Health Data Governance) agenda across the region. This includes organizing national dialogue and local counseling on Webina and HDG principles, supporting the state, and supporting the World Health General Assembly, which supports these principles and supports the World Health Conference on HDG.

This project will provide support for three countries in the southeastern and Southeast Asian regions. The selected countries will receive up to $ 6,000 funds to carry out thorough national environmental reviews and hold an interpersonal workshop. These activities are designed to build an agreement and promote the finishing of the national implementation roadmap for HDG.
Who should apply?
Health Data Governance’s Health and other competent government authorities that have shown a strong devotion to strengthening the health data framework.
Qualification standard
It is recommended to apply for a country that meets most or all of the following criteria.
- Reform/Update Intention: The state is planning to recognize the need to strengthen the legal framework of HDG in the state, to introduce a new bill related to HDG, or update the existing law to integrate HDG components.
- Political will and leadership: In order to promote efforts in the HDG agenda, there are clear political devotion and powerful leadership within the Ministry of Health.
- Strategic integration: HDGs are considered essential parts of national digital health strategies or blueprints, not standalone activities.
- Continuous participation: This country continues to participate in this HDG agenda with AEHIN or Development Partners. For example, supporting the HDG principle, providing written support for the World Health Council (WHA) ‘s global HDG framework (WHA), participating in national dialogue, AEHIN counseling, participating in the Geneva side conference, or participating in official promises related to the HDG basics.
- Focusation: The Ministry of Health has already adjusted AEHIN and is willing to specify or focus on contact staff to adjust with AEHIN and jointly work on this project.
