The new IVF technology uses three DNA to prevent genetic diseases.

Scientists at Newcastle University reported that eight children in the UK were out of destructive genetic diseases thanks to the new three -person testing techniques on Wednesday.

The forbidden technology in the United States delivers sculptures to the healthy eggs provided by an anonymous donor inside the mother’s modified egg (nuclear, father’s nuclear).

This procedure can prevent the delivery of mutant genes inside the mother’s mitochondria (cells of cells), and can cause potentially fatal obstacles.

The mutation of mitochondrial DNA can affect the organs that require high energy such as brain, liver, heart, muscles and kidney, especially the brain, liver, heart, muscles and kidneys.

One of the eight children is currently 2 years old, two are between 1 and 2 years old, and five are infants. All were healthy at birth, and blood tests showed a low or low level of mitochondrial mutation. New England Journal.

They all said they had made normal development progress.

The results are the “Peaks of decades of work” that establishes not only scientific and technical tasks, but also ethical investigations, public and patient participation, legal system, draft and execution, monitoring and caring systems for mothers and infants.

Greenfield said the researcher’s “treasure reconstruction” is likely to be the starting point for a new investigation.

Often during the IVF screening process, doctors can identify low -risk eggs with little mitochondrial mutation suitable for transplantation.

But sometimes all eggs of mitochondrial DNA deliver mutations. In this case, using a new technology, the British doctor first fertilizes the mother’s eggs with his father’s sperm.

Then remove the “Pronuclei” of the fertilized egg, the nucleus and sperm of the eggs.

Next, they moved eggs and sperm nuclei to donated fertilized eggs, which removed nuclear weapons.

The donor egg now begins to divide healthy mitochondria and nuclear DNA into mother’s egg and father’s sperm.

This process is A Journal“We are essentially replacing the mitochondrial DNA (MTDNA), which is defective with the donor’s healthy MTDNA,” said Mary Herbert, a professor of reproductive biology.

The blood level of MTDNA mutations was 95% to 100% lower in six newborns, 77% to 88% lower in two newborns compared to the mother’s same variant level.

“This data indicates that nuclei is effective in reducing the transmission of MTDNA disease.

This procedure was tested in 22 women who could inherit such genes. In addition to the eight women who delivered the children described in this report, one of 22 people is currently pregnant.

Seven of the eight pregnancy had no incident. In some cases, pregnant women have a blood test showing high lipid levels.

There was no legacy.

The authors of the current report also attempted to transplant their mother’s fertilized eggs into donor eggs and later to modify donors, but I think that a new approach can more stably prevents the transmission of genetic disorders.

In 2015, the United Kingdom became the world’s first country and became a country that legalized the study of human mitochondrial donation.

In the same year, in the United States, a continuous relocation was effectively prohibited by human use by the Parliamentary Budget Act, which prohibits the use of funds to consider the use of “genetic genetic fertilization”.
