Now people use Ozempic to manage weight, but manufacturers say that they are actually prescribed as GLP-1 medicine for adults suffering from type 2 diabetes.

“I have the same feelings as I have when I have a big meal.

Sex drive ‘side effects’ have been explained

The psychologist reveals how Ozempic can affect his personal desire (getty store).
NYU Grossman School of Medicine, a physiologist and professor, Rachel Goldman PHD, Sayed Purewow that taking ozempic may lack general ‘interest’.
“What we know is that GLP-1 affects the brain’s compensation center, so there is little food noise, long craving, and less interest in using alcohol. There is also a reason why it can affect sexual desire.”
She pointed out that it is difficult to judge whether the sexual desire is directly changing among the patients.
But Goldman believes that changes in desire can cause imbalance in their relationship.
For example, any partner has not been very interested in sex before, and one partner’s sexual desire suddenly increases, and in Ozempic, the other can feel excluded.
Novo Nordisk, which manufactures Ozempic, said before: “Patient safety is most important to Novo Nordisk, and patients are recommended to take these drugs under the approved indications and supervision of medical professionals.
“We continue to collect safety data for the sold GLP-1 pharmaceuticals and work closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of the patient. As part of this work, we continue to monitor reports on adverse drug reactions through everyday drug inspection.
“We have patients who experience side effects while taking GLP-1 RA drugs, including Wegovy and Semaglutide Injection (Semaglutide Injection), patients who experience side effects with medical service providers MHRA Yellow Card System. “
