The father of former LSU Wide receiver Kyren Lacy is urging his parents to check in their children’s mental health after losing their son in suicide.
LACY died a few days before the scheduled jury hearing during the pursuit of the police in Houston.
Kenny Lacy said in an emotional social media post, “Young parents, talk with their children at a very young age and make sure they are confident and comfortable.
“When you know that you are not right, ‘I’m okay’ or ‘I am good’. Mental health is real and most of them are not visible. Don’t ignore the signs.”
LACY, 24, died on Saturday night after leading police pursuit in Houston.
According to investigators, LACY was involved in the debate with the family and shot to the ground before driving. The agents said they were shot and died on the scene after the car crashed.
Kyren’s father says that the decline in mental health of his son can be the cause of the recent decision.
Gage Golding: “Do you think that contributed to the decision he made in life?”
Kenny Race: “As you know, if you fight something inside, we can’t even explain.”
This incident is being investigated as possible. Pistols have been recovered inside the vehicle and will be performed at Harris County Forensic Sciences Institute.
Kenny Lacy said, “Our lives have changed forever and this will never be fine, but God needed more than what my baby needed here.“ This must be the greatest pill that our family swallows … but we will learn how to live with it. ”
“I want to do my best to prevent this from happening to other families.” Kenny said. “Just talk to them and find out what’s going on. Don’t be afraid to talk to him. Do you want to talk about it at that time? Find the time they want to say. You should check the children mentally.
LACY was a former NFL draft hope and LSU wide receiver with a 58 pass from 866 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He killed a 78 -year -old Herman Hall due to the legal issue of Louisiana’s 2023 conflict. LACY has faced several charges, including fruit murders and heavy criminal sin. The great jury was scheduled to review the case of Monday.
His lawyer issued a strongly expressed statement after his death, and insisted that LACY aimed unjustly and could not endure the weight of legal procedures, media reports and social media surveys.
“Kyren was a young man with tremendous promises and collapsed with the weight of irresponsible and prejudice.” “There was no presumption of innocence.”
The LSU also issued a statement: “We are sadly sad about the tragic passage of former LSU football player Kyren Lacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, and his passengers and coaches.”
LACY’s father finished his message with his last pleasure. “Check your child’s spirit !!!!!!!!!
