For decades, the United States has led the world of pharmaceutical innovation to develop drugs that fight cancer, heart disease, AIDS, diabetes and other murderer diseases. According to a recent study, “The US market share is almost 8,500 in the health science production of the natural index, which is higher than the next 10 major countries.”
The industry’s research and development saved and improved tens of millions of lives in the United States alone. But somehow Washington has regarded the industry as a villain.
